In the wake of COVID-19 we want to highlight our committed attention to the health and safety of our guests and crew onboard Shannon Princess.
We are working under strict regulations relating to COVID 19 for hospitality & food businesses.
Shannon Princess has been awarded the COVID 19 Safety Charter by Failte Ireland (the Irish Tourism board) which is endorsed by the Government of Ireland.
This included ongoing onboard inspections to assess us for compliance, best practice and the successful implementation of the charter.
All our crew have completed an approved course that meets the requirements of Failte Ireland's COVID 19 Safety Charter. This course covers procedures relating to COVID 19 prevention within the hospitality industry.
We are using Irish Department of Agriculture, Food & the Marine, approved medical grade sanitisation and air filtration systems, both onboard the barge & in our shore vehicle.
Thorough deep cleaning and rigorous ongoing touch point cleaning takes place continuously.
COVID 19 sanitization stations are provided throughout the boat.
PPE ( are worn as needed by our crew.
We will continue to update our procedures inline with Irish and European Union regulations.
